We would like to share an important update regarding recent shipping delays that may affect some orders.
Ocean Freight Delays
Due to the current international situation and ongoing geopolitical factors, global ocean freight routes are experiencing disruptions and capacity adjustments. These changes may lead to longer transit times and delays in vessel schedules, which are unfortunately beyond our direct control.
Increased U.S. Customs Inspections
At the same time, U.S. Customs inspections have become significantly stricter in recent weeks, especially for cross-border e-commerce shipments.
Recent industry reports indicate that inspection procedures are becoming more intensive, with shipments increasingly subject to extended review processes. Previously, most packages cleared customs quickly under basic "1H" procedures. However, we are now seeing a major increase in 2H and 3H enhanced inspections, involving multiple regulatory agencies (such as the FDA and USDA). As a result, shipments that previously cleared within a few days may now require significantly longer processing times depending on inspection level and workload.
External Factors: DHS Funding & Policy Impacts
Adding to the complexity, the recent DHS Funding Pause in Congress has created administrative bottlenecks. While CBP officers remain on duty, the lack of full federal appropriations has slowed down non-routine entry processing and compliance reviews.
Please understand: These delays are caused by external government procedures and policy shifts that are, unfortunately, entirely beyond our control.
What This Means for Your Delivery (Estimated)
While we strive for speed, please anticipate the following average timeframes for customs clearance:
- Routine Clearance (1H): 1–3 days
- Enhanced Inspection (2H): 3–10 days
- Deep Inspection (3H+): 3 weeks or longer depending on the agencies involved
